About the Diet Solution Program

There are literally hundreds of diet programs on the market. However, most of these fail to do as advertised, which, in all honesty, is not all that surprising. In the United States, people are practically conditioned to purchase products or subscribe to programs, even though they know full well that what they are paying for isn’t worth the money. There are a few diet programs, though, that actually work. One of these is the Diet Solution Program. Devised by certified nutritionist Isabel De Los Rios, this program is based almost entirely on how the body metabolizes sugars. This is the reason it works; it’s backed by known biochemical scientific studies and research.

Some sugars, such as glucose, are processed by the body much more readily than others. About 80% of glucose is absorbed and used by the body while 20% of this sugar enters the liver where it is turned primarily into waste. Thus, glucose is one of the better sugars to consume. It actually increases the rate at which the body burns fat because it barely hinders the liver’s fat-burning functions. Sugars like fructose, on the other hand, have a negative effect on the body. Every single calorie of fructose you ingest goes straight to the liver. All of this becomes waste. Because the liver must spend a great deal of energy converting fructose into waste, it can’t use that energy to burn fat. Thus, the body accumulates this excess fat.

Also, when a person consumes more than a certain amount of sugar, which differs depending on his or her metabolism, the body releases quite a bit of insulin. This insulin, among other things, indicates that the body should store fat, rather than consume it. Storing this fat leads to excess body fat. Similarly, if too little sugar is consumed, the body goes into what is sometimes referred to as “Starvation Mode.” The body literally thinks it’s starving, so it will try to conserve its resources. This results in a much slower fat-burning rate. To effectively and efficiently burn fat, a proper amount of sugar must be ingested. Isabel’s program helps you determine just how much you need to take in to maintain that optimal fat-burning level.

To top it off, the program also includes a list of exactly what foods have the proper types of sugar. Isabel also includes a list of stores that carry each of the foods listed. This is incredibly useful for most of the people using the program. The vast majority of these people have had to change their diets rather significantly, and would’ve had a difficult time locating these beneficial foods. Not only does she include this list, though. She also includes a list of recipes for delicious, healthy, full dishes. That’s why this program is so popular.
